[Pilouette takes a deep breath, feeling a combination of both excitment and nervousness. While she's become used to talking to people over the journals before, she's never...announced anything before, much less something she had a hand in organizing. But she's sure that a party would make people happy, especially as it's New Feather season. So, she does her best to calm her nerves and turns to the journals with a smile.]

Um! Hi, everyone! Pilouette here. W-Welcome to all the New Feathers! I hope you're all, like, settling in and stuff? Well, anyway, since there hasn't been one in a while, some of us thought it would be really nice to have a New Feather Party! You know, since it's New Feather season and all. I was thinking that maybe we should have it at the Rec Center, on the 24th maybe? That's, um, next week!

And they're a really good way for New Feathers to meet people here in the village so, um, I hope a lot of you decide to come. There's gonna be like, lots of food n' stuff and I bet it's gonna be like, so totally fun! If anyone else is interested in helping out or if you have any ideas or anything, like, just let me know! After all nothing is really like...set in stone or anything yet. Anyway, hope to see you there!

[After that, Pilouette will be going about her business in the village trying to prep things for the New Feather Party, talking to people trying to figure out what all they need.]

All right then. I need you to tell me what the most important thing is that must be done to prepare for this party.

Oooh, yeah! Maybe we should have an extra person at the booth, though. Y-You know, like, just in case lots of people have questions. It might make it easier!

The guide stuff is really good, too...! Like, I didn't even know there was a guide until someone told me about it! Oooh, maybe we could have like, an FAQ sheet, too! That way you might not have to answer the same questions a lot!

The most important thing...? Um...

[Pilouette thinks hard. Not the decorations, a party could go on without those. The food, maybe? No, a party doesn't need food, but it certainly helps.]

Maybe...what would be the best way to help out the New Feathers. Like, that's the whole point of this party, right? To make them feel welcome! So that's probably the most important thing, right?

[This girl surprises her every single day, really. Mia laughs.]

You're right. That is the most important thing. Everything else just helps that along.

Don't worry, I think I'm pretty good at this. I'll definitely do what I can to help!

[Oh man, she wasn't trying to make a dig at him and now she feels a little awkward. Pils hopes he doesn't think she was trying to blame him.]

W-Well, I think we all have! I mean, I actually kind of forgot about them for a while and it's been really...like, not feeling much like a party kind of atmosphere lately or something, you know? B-Besides, it shouldn't like, fall on one person, right?

And like, thank you so totally much for volunteering to help out! I've like, never done party planning before so stuff is like, still being decided...Like, food, decoration, activities...that kinda stuff. If you have like, any ideas at all, that would be super cool!

[Pilouette smiles. She hadn't thought of it that way, but...it's much nicer than wigging out about it the way she has been.]

Hmm...Someone did suggest setting up an information booth so New Feathers could ask questions. Maybe a map of the village might be nice to have up, too! After all, a lot of stuff about this place is pretty confusing when you're new...!

Before I arrived to Luceti, I was a diplomat working for the United Nations, so I don't mind handling it on my own or repeating answers. You become accustomed to it once you start dealing with international relations.

Maybe that's because he didn't actually do anything. [Sometimes, in a really weird sorta way, he kind of missed Panda, but other times... most of the time...] It is a lot of work, though. But I'm sure we'll be fine between all of us.

It was a lot of fun. But don't worry, I'm sure we can plan something just as good as that was.

[ She thinks about it for a moment... ]

Oh! I know. We should have fireworks!

That's true...he just kind of made demands while we did all the work.

[She kind of envied Panda in that way. It must be nice to be able to say and do and ask whatever you want so easily.]

Yeah...Yeah! A lot of people are already volunteering, so I'm sure it'll be okay! I'm starting to feel like, kind of okay about this...!

That sounds like a very practical idea. And it's one I think we can really use, new feathers and old ones alike.

Oh! Oh oh! That would be awesome! I bet everyone would like, really like that~! I mean, who doesn't like fireworks, right?!

Oooh, I wonder who would do them, though. I mean, I don't know anything about fireworks and I'd rather not like, explode my hand off or something. wonder where we'd get them, too...

Yeah! A-And I could make a chart of what everything is and talk about the school...Oh! I wonder if other people would want to tell the New Feathers about stuff, too? After all, there's a lot of stuff that I don't know all that much about...

And you shouldn't have to do all of the talking, either. People here are very helpful, I'm sure they'll want to contribute to this party.

It's the most I can do. Having a welcoming party is a good idea, especially considering most of those who arrive here don't really have a chance to fully understand what is going on before they're swept into it.
