[Pilouette takes a deep breath, feeling a combination of both excitment and nervousness. While she's become used to talking to people over the journals before, she's never...announced anything before, much less something she had a hand in organizing. But she's sure that a party would make people happy, especially as it's New Feather season. So, she does her best to calm her nerves and turns to the journals with a smile.]

Um! Hi, everyone! Pilouette here. W-Welcome to all the New Feathers! I hope you're all, like, settling in and stuff? Well, anyway, since there hasn't been one in a while, some of us thought it would be really nice to have a New Feather Party! You know, since it's New Feather season and all. I was thinking that maybe we should have it at the Rec Center, on the 24th maybe? That's, um, next week!

And they're a really good way for New Feathers to meet people here in the village so, um, I hope a lot of you decide to come. There's gonna be like, lots of food n' stuff and I bet it's gonna be like, so totally fun! If anyone else is interested in helping out or if you have any ideas or anything, like, just let me know! After all nothing is really like...set in stone or anything yet. Anyway, hope to see you there!

[After that, Pilouette will be going about her business in the village trying to prep things for the New Feather Party, talking to people trying to figure out what all they need.]

Oh, that would be like, so great! Thanks so much, Miss Grune! I don't actually have like, all that much experience with this kind of stuff, so it's good to there's gonna be someone who knows totally how to do like, party stuff!

[She's so much more used to doing what she's asked than she is at planning things. The relief in her voice might be noticeable.]

Don't worry, Pilouette. I know you're going to do a wonderful job!

[If Pilouette sounds relieved, then Grune sounds completely confident. She just knows you can do it!]

...Thanks, Miss Grune. I'll do my best! After all, it's pretty hard just...showing up in this place. So I really want it to go well, so all the New Feathers will feel a little better.

[Grune doesn't really know what she means by it being hard to show up in Luceti, but that's all right. There's something more important for her to say here.]

I think they'll be happy no matter what happens, because they'll know you were thinking about them and working hard just for them.

[Pilouette pauses to think about that before answering because...well, she had never thought about it that way. With very few exceptions, she had never thought that the things she did meant much to anyone. After all, as much as she tried to act like an adult, she was just a girl who just did what little she could.]

...You really think so?

Oh, yes. You're trying your best just for them, and that's important.

[Pilouette can't help but smile to herself. Grune had a point. After all, she knows that it always felt nice to know that someone did their best to do something for her and wanting to do the same for someone else...well, thinking about it makes her want to try.]

I'll totally work as hard as I can then! After all, I want everyone to have lots of fun!

And I'll help! I want everyone to have fun, too!

[There aren't many better goals than that, as far as she's concerned.]

And a lot of people are volunteering to help. So I'm sure if we all work together, everyone will have a really good time! And if it goes well, maybe we'll have another New Feather Party sometime!

[Grune never fails to lift Pilouette's mood when it comes to things like this, something that Pilouette will always be grateful for.]

Oh, yes, that's a good idea. Then you could make the new New Feathers happy, too!

[She then looks mildly confused. Yes, she really did just disorient herself. Good job, Grune.]

[She's a little sidetracked herself now. New New Feathers? Does that make everyone else Old New Feathers? But they weren't New Feathers at all anymore, were they? She snaps back to the matter at hand, deciding that whether the feathers are new or old, she can think about it later.]

E-Exactly! And even if it's a New Feather party anyone can enjoy it whether they're new or not! Heehee...I'm starting to get really excited for this...!

[And now she's back on track too. Hooray!]

Oh, me too! I just know it's going to be wonderful!
