[Shortly after arriving, Pilouette had learned that when, or rather if, she returned home she would go back to the very moment she left. But as of late, something has been bothering her. While what little knowledge of time travel and the like she possesses comes from films and most likely has very little basis in actual science, she can't stop thinking about it. So, flopping down on her bed, she decides to take to the journals.]

Umm, hey. Like, I have a question.

When you come here, time like, freezes back home right? I don't know a lot about timescience or whatever, but I was wondering...When you leave here, if you go back to the moment you left does that mean that one second into the future at home I'm already back sleeping on the couch? But would that mean I'm here and there at the same time? Or does that not work since that's in the future?

Like I said I'm not like...a "time scientist" or anything, so I've really got like, no idea. So...does anyone know?

[ There's a looong pause before this girl speaks up. ]

... I don't think I even get it anymore, that sounds way too difficult..

Like, I know, right?! All this weird time junk...I just don't get it! Even in the movies it always sounded super complicated.

At least in the movies they explain it in a short way, but I'm sure that if anyone has the answer to this it's just long and complicated..! And in the end, even though they talked for such a long time, I still won't get it!

Now that you mention it...I didn't even think about that! Wh-what if someone gives me like, a super good explanation but it's too hard for me to understand?! Omigod, they're gonna think I'm so dumb!

N.. no, you can't give up just yet! If you don't reply to people who reply now, they might think you're rude instead, and being found rude is even worse than people thinking you're dumb, trust me!

Oh.. That's the perfect solution! You must be a really smart person after all to think up something like that!

[Pils never gets called smart so she's just going to bask in that for a second.]

Of course I think so! In fact, I really, really think so! I wouldn't know what to do if someone would say something I don't understand, really..

Ah, but now you do! We can share the same plan! The next time someone tells you something you don't understand, pretend you get it and figure it out later!

[To most people, this would be an awful plan.]

That's right, I could just ask Ami-chan later on, since she knows pretty much anything!

... Ah, but then there's the problem.. what do I do if it's Ami-chan of all people saying something complicated?! Who will I ask then?!

Hmm...That is kinda tough.

Maybe you could try researching it at the library? That's what I would do, anyway. That way if they ask you about it later on, you can pretend you knew the whole time and no one can prove you didn't!

... The library, huh.. [ her mortal enemy.. ]

But what if I get lost in there?! It's so big!

[She's never actually been in Luceti's library so she's got no idea.]

You could try putting down some kind of marker to show where you've been! I used to see it on TV all the time back home! If it's big enough to get lost in, you'd think someone would have made a map or something or by now...

[ To be fair, Usagi would consider anything with more than two book shelves already to be scary. ]

Making a map of the library, huh.. That actually doesn't sound like a bad idea, I bet lots of people get lost in there all the time!

R-really?! Whoah. If that many people are getting lost in there who knows who all might actually be in there?! What if some New Feather, like, popped up in there and just...never found their way out?

[Pils is completely horrified by this thought.]

... O-oh no.. Do you really think some New Feather might have been stuck in there for ages already..?! What if someone died and is now haunting the library?!

[ totally freaking out along with her. ]

No way! NO WAY! Th-th-there's no way someone d-died in the library! I mean, there's a librarian or something right? Or at least someone who's in there a lot! I-If someone died in there, they would know at least! You don't just not notice a dead person in a library, right?!

[She's not sure if she's trying to convince Usagi or herself at this point.]

But the library is super big like we said, right?! So even the librarian might not check the dark far corners of it, so maybe there's-- you know, a real skeleton there! Just in a corner!

Uwaah, it's so scary! I'm never ever going in there for sure, I just know I'll die next!

[This is getting more terrifying by the second. The idea of a skeleton, or worse, a corpse just...sitting in some deep, dark corner of the library is horrifying beyond belief.]

W-well, if you ever do have to go in there, take someone with you who's really good at directions! O-Or maybe a compass?

L.. listen up.. [ gulping, her expression becoming almost a bit dramatic.. ]

If I never get out of there again.. you have to remember me, okay?! Tell the tale of my brave adventure to everyone, so that nobody will forget how I sacrificed myself for it..!

I-I'll totally remember you! And I'll make sure it never happens to anyone ever again! I'll like, write a book about it or something!

...Um, but, before I remember you, um, I kind of need to know your name.

Usagi! Usagi Tsukino-- and ah, if you write a book about me, don't make it too long, okay? Otherwise nobody will bother to read it at all!

Well, my name is Pilouette! So if you get lost in the library, if you can get ahold of me, I'll like, totally come and help you!

A-And I'll write that book so anyone can read it! I'll even make sure there are lots of pictures so even the littlest kid can understand how dangerous the library is!
