[Shortly after arriving, Pilouette had learned that when, or rather if, she returned home she would go back to the very moment she left. But as of late, something has been bothering her. While what little knowledge of time travel and the like she possesses comes from films and most likely has very little basis in actual science, she can't stop thinking about it. So, flopping down on her bed, she decides to take to the journals.]

Umm, hey. Like, I have a question.

When you come here, time like, freezes back home right? I don't know a lot about timescience or whatever, but I was wondering...When you leave here, if you go back to the moment you left does that mean that one second into the future at home I'm already back sleeping on the couch? But would that mean I'm here and there at the same time? Or does that not work since that's in the future?

Like I said I'm not like...a "time scientist" or anything, so I've really got like, no idea. So...does anyone know?

No way! NO WAY! Th-th-there's no way someone d-died in the library! I mean, there's a librarian or something right? Or at least someone who's in there a lot! I-If someone died in there, they would know at least! You don't just not notice a dead person in a library, right?!

[She's not sure if she's trying to convince Usagi or herself at this point.]

But the library is super big like we said, right?! So even the librarian might not check the dark far corners of it, so maybe there's-- you know, a real skeleton there! Just in a corner!

Uwaah, it's so scary! I'm never ever going in there for sure, I just know I'll die next!

[ voice ]

[This is getting more terrifying by the second. The idea of a skeleton, or worse, a corpse just...sitting in some deep, dark corner of the library is horrifying beyond belief.]

W-well, if you ever do have to go in there, take someone with you who's really good at directions! O-Or maybe a compass?

[ voice ]

[lunas]

L.. listen up.. [ gulping, her expression becoming almost a bit dramatic.. ]

If I never get out of there again.. you have to remember me, okay?! Tell the tale of my brave adventure to everyone, so that nobody will forget how I sacrificed myself for it..!

I-I'll totally remember you! And I'll make sure it never happens to anyone ever again! I'll like, write a book about it or something!

...Um, but, before I remember you, um, I kind of need to know your name.

[ voice ]

Usagi! Usagi Tsukino-- and ah, if you write a book about me, don't make it too long, okay? Otherwise nobody will bother to read it at all!

[ voice ]

Well, my name is Pilouette! So if you get lost in the library, if you can get ahold of me, I'll like, totally come and help you!

A-And I'll write that book so anyone can read it! I'll even make sure there are lots of pictures so even the littlest kid can understand how dangerous the library is!

[ voice ]

Thank you, Pilouette-chan..! That means that even if I die.. [ there's a dramatic sniffle ] my sacrifice will never be in vain..!
