[First aid.
Pilouette has never really had much of an interest in medicine, nor has she ever thought medical work of any kind was within her capabilities. However, Precis did have a point. Since Pilouette wanted a way to contribute and be useful, first aid would be a pretty good skill to learn, especially if her luck finally ran out and she suddenly found herself being drafted.
So, a little apprehensively, she turns to the journals.]
U-Um! I was wondering if, um, if anyone could maybe...teach me first aid? I mean, I'm not asking anyone to do it for nothing! Really! I can clean really well and um, I can cook a little! I-I'd just really like to learn how to do it!
[Action]
[ She hoped that she would have left within months of arriving, but with everything she had experienced the time had passed quickly and before she knew it, Pilouette had been in Luceti for a whole year. She had been through experiments, seen things she though were impossible, met people who couldn't have possibly existed back home, faced the reality of death, made new friends...and lost a few, convincing herself each time that it was better for them to go because they got to go home. However, part of her always wished they would have stayed just a little longer, as the possibility of her never seeing them again was high. Of course, she didn't want to admit to feeling that way. She thought to do so would be childish and selfish and she was practically an adult by now. As such, she was clearly past such things.
Right?
Even a year later, she remembers that first day clearly. She awoke in the snow and, thinking herself dead, began to panic, screaming and flailing, only realizing how cold she was after being calmed down by various other captives of the enclosure. She remembers sulking alone, just trying to adjust and wrap her mind around it. When she was younger, moving overseas or even just moving across town was enough to make her upset enough to cry and withdraw. It amazes her at times that she's held up as well as she has, though she's sure it's due to the people she's met. Plus, having been in Luceti for a year, she's gotten a little better at adjusting to sudden changes.
Just a little, she's sure. ]
[It occurs to her only now how long she might have been sitting in the snow in the middle of the forest on that first day in Luceti, sniveling and crying, if not for someone happening upon her and helping her find her way. And so later that day, dressed for the weather (along with her fake glasses, as they did always make her feel a just little less nervous) and with a small bag containing her journal, a little bit of food and a blanket, she walks off into the forest, just in case The Malnosso have seen fit to dump any New Feathers in the forest.
However, that's only part of the reason she sets off on her little adventure. Though she realizes that being stuck in this place for a year isn't something to celebrate or treat as a special occasion, she feels she should do something. She's decided to try and find the spot where she first arrived. Pilouette knows full well it won't really help anything and she's not even sure if she can even recall quite what it looked like as the area was covered with snow (her state of panic didn't help either) but Pils thinks that maybe she'll remember if she sees it.
Spoiler Alert: She probably won't.]

Of course, she finds nothing. That's not going to deter her, though, not on a day like this. It takes her a couple of hours, but what's a good hike? She's not even accompanied by Robbie this time.]
Oh, oh! There you are, Pilouette! I was starting to get worried you were taken or something. What're you doing all the way out here?
no subject
[Pilouette is so happy to see Precis. Having seen her journal entry just before she was grabbed, Pilouette has been a little worried, especially since she hasn't seen Precis since then. She hurriedly scrambles over.]
Oh, gosh, I'm so glad you're okay! I was getting pretty worried myself! And...
[Her smile fades, but just a little bit.]
well, I'm out here because I want to see if I can find the spot where I first woke up here. It's hard to believe I've been here this long...

[It is hug time! Not time for smiles to fade. Precis doesn't hug for very long, though.]
I don't think you've ever told me what happened when you first showed up. I fell in the lake, right when it was frozen.

When I first showed up I woke up in the middle of the snow in the woods. It was like, sooo embarrassing. I totally flipped out and it ended up on the journals and everything! Because of the wings and stuff, I thought I was dea-
Uh...
[Considering Precis's relatively recent death, she feels a little awkward just now.]

[As for first aide, she can think of a lot of people. But she might as well advertise a class she did most of]

[...But then Haruhi's a prodigy]

O-Oh. R-Right...I-I mean, you're right! I guess most people do learn stuff by doing it over and over, huh? Maybe I'll go ask about it...

I'm heading out to the forest! It's, like...It's New Feather time, right?! I thought that I'd like, see if anyone is out there or whatever!

First Aid? How much do you want to learn?
video;
Well, mostly just like, the basic stuff, I guess? I mean, I don't know if I could handle like, any really serious injuries either way, but...I'd like to learn enough that I could help someone enough that they could be okay until a doctor got to them.

[It's been a little while since she's seen Beast. She smiles and gives him a little wave, before trotting over.]
I was just about to head out into the forest!

[Far be it for her to impose it on someone she doesn't know other than in passing.]
[voice]
Are you sure, though? I mean, if you're taking the time to help me learn this stuff, that's like, time you could spend doing other stuff! So, um, it's only fair that I should help out in return, right?
[voice]
It is better to learn with a partner of some kind, though. [Makes the whole thing better
as long as your co-student doesn't betray and abandon youand it's what her learning experience at home was like, as well as her apprentices'.][voice]
