008
[When Pilouette wakes up in the morning, she finds that the Malnosso at least had the decency to put her back where they got her. While she's glad to be back, overall she's still pretty upset about the whole thing. Though, she admits to herself, it's probably amazing that she got through a whole year without being specifically targeted and experimented on. The past week is pretty fuzzy. She can hardly remember what happened to her while she was in the Malnosso's custody. It kind of makes her wish she wasn't such a heavy sleeper; it probably made it that much easier for the droids to grab her.
She sits for a moment just blinking her eyes, trying to shake off the groggy feeling the experimentation has left her with. As she sits, she figures it's probably a good idea to let her friends know that she's back, safe and sound (relatively speaking). And if she's going to do that, she has to make herself look presentable first. She climbs out of bed...
...and finds that there now seems to be a much greater drop from her bed to the floor.
The fact that there's a drop at all is worrying. As she sits on the floor, she looks up only to find that the Malnosso have taken her down a few pegs. About four feet worth of pegs to more specific. She now stands at just over a foot tall, now unable to even reach the top of her bed. What follows is approximately five minutes of screaming and flailing as Pilouette simultaneously panics and curses the Malnosso for what they've done.
See, this is why she's always saying mean things about them.
After a while, she does her best to get her head together. She's seventeen. That's practically an adult, right? She can handle this. She can so handle this. She can so totally handle this. First things first! Let her friends know she's okay! Her journal seems to be on top of her bed, though...So she'll just head out and tell them in person! But she quickly finds she can't quite reach the doorknob of her apartment door. She starts moving her only chair towards the door, but finds that she probably wouldn't be able to climb up onto it once she got it there. She can't handle this. She really can't handle this. She just super totally can't handle this.
More screaming. More flailing.
After a few moments, she starts to scramble around her apartment, trying to find something she can use to get out of this predicament. To think she had finally started getting somewhere, learning all kinds of helpful things, working hard so she could contribute and help others...and now she couldn't even open the door to her apartment on her own.
Eventually, she bumps into a table, knocking down a hand mirror and she does not like what she sees. Along with her new height, or lack thereof, she looks more like a crane game prize than she does a teenage girl. ]
[Voice]
[Making a point to cover up the camera, Pilouette finally gets it together enough to put out a message on the journals. Hopefully, no one will notice her voice sounds just a bit higher pitched than usual.]
It's, um, Pils. Just...Just wanted to let people know that, uh, I'm back now! And I'm pretty much okay! A-Also, uh...
[No. Don't ask. Don't even ask. This is terrible. Embarrassing, even. But, after a moment of thought she sighs. Even if she is practically an adult, at present, she's barely over a foot tall. If she can't get out of her apartment, she can't do anything...]
If someone in Community House 4 could come and open the door to Apartment 9 on the second floor, you would really be helping me a lot. I-It shouldn't be locked either. ...Th-Thanks.
[Action]
[From the 21st through the 25th, Pilouette will be attempting to go about her business as normal. That's what an adult would do, right? She's sure she'll be just fine! However, her current state of smallness is only proving to make mundane tasks more difficult. She's literally having to try and climb into her schooldesk, those high shelves at the grocery are suddenly quite a bit higher and...well. Doors. She'll probably even drop by the bakery a few times during the week for a mood raiser.
Plus, those in CH4 may find her doing her best to clean up or even shoving around chairs in the kitchen in an attempt to reach the counters and cook her meals as usual, with little success.]
[[ooc: Feel free to run into her at anytime during the weekdays. By Saturday morning, she'll be back to normal.]]

[...Wait no, that's rude]

[voice]
Still, though, geez.]
I mean...w-well, I'm not completely normal, but...I don't feel sick or anything. So, uh, that's good.

[Like most things, Panda says this like he's proud of himself for not noticing.
And if Pilouette is extremely observant to sounds, she'll hear a door opening from the same hallway. Looks like Panda is coming to help her...!]
[voice/action]
[She's too busy griping at him to pay attention, so she doesn't hear that door outside.]
I guess I shouldn't be surprised...! You're like, so totally self-centered.
[all action]
I'm really good at sleeping...! There's not a lot that will wake me up, Pilouette. Where are you?
[all action]
[Even if she's the same way, but she's not even going to mention that.]
And what do you mean, where am I? I'm in my apart...ment...
[Huh. He sounded awfully close just then. She puts down her journal and turns toward the door. ...No. NO. He's not, is he?!]

[It shouldn't be too bad. This is Precis, after all, so it's fine, right? Pilouette stands the journal up and uncovers the camera, walking far enough off so that all of her can be seen on camera.]

Are you alright? [She's not from the house or she'd offer to come help.]
I'm glad you're back, at least. Whatever the Malnosso may have done should return to normal eventually, too.
[Voice]
I know it'll wear off after a while, but until then it's gonna be like, kind of hard to do stuff. Plus, it's kind of awful not know how long it'll be...!
[Voice]
[Voice]
Something like that. You know?!
[She's not sure she explained that very well, but...well, how can she explain it?]

The helpful, hero
or so he deludes himself to beCross! The boy was just out trying to find food when....there's a small person trying to climb up shelves. Well...um...
He'll walk over to her and kneel down to offer her his hand to get on.]
Here, I'll help you up.
action
O-Oh! Uh, n-no, thanks, I-I can do it myself! I'm fine! Really!
[She makes another attempt, not even getting to the second shelf before slipping and falling on to her backside with another little squeak. After a moment, she stands and turns to Cross, still pretty embarrassed.]
...I'm trying to get to the fourth shelf.
action
Okay, no. He actually only got here five minutes ago.]
Um, well...okay if you're sure.
[But, he'll turn his back a bit if only to pretend like he's looking at something else. Oh, but she needs him. Hero time go!
Turning back to her he smiles. Before he bends down again.]
Fourth shelf, huh? Okay, I can handle that.
[And again he offers his hand.]
action
Reluctantly, she climbs on to his hand, pouting just a little.]

Um. Pilouette?
[action]
[Maybe if she tries really hard to act like nothing is wrong, it'll start feeling less weird. She stops pushing that chair for a second and leans against it.]
Geez, this thing is like, way heavier than it looks!
[action]
[He blinks. She's really casual about it, isn't she...? It makes him wonder whether or not he should ask if she needs help, but he decides to just go for it.]
Did you want a hand?
[action]
[She starts pushing again, but stops only moments later. Considering how long she's been at it...well, the chair hasn't actually moved very far from where it was in the first place. She looks at the chair and then to Shinji.]
Well...I guess you can help me out a little if it's not too much trouble.
